Lisa Ingraham

Lisa Ingraham has been a ONE Stroke Certified Instructor (OSCI) since February 2000, when she received her certification from Donna Dewberry in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was initially a student of Linda Petrarca's in Goodyear, Arizona, starting in 1998.

Lisa's only craft experience was with needlework. Her mother taught her to do crewel embroidery and needlepoint when she was 10 years old. Thirty years later, she was convinced that that was her only artistic talent. But one series of classes in the ONE Stroke painting technique was enough to convince her that, yes, she could in fact paint!

Lisa has been co-teaching ONE Stroke painting classes since 1999, even before she received her certification. She is currently a demonstrator for PLAID paint, a partner in the business Paint YOUR Wagon with Linda, a member of the Decorative Arts Painting Club in Pebblecreek, member of the Society of Decorative Painters, member of The Stencil Artisans League, and when she is not painting, a partner with her husband in Mad Hatter Mufflers and Brakes.

Lisa attends annual ONE Stroke refreshers with Donna Dewberry and has assisted Donna at ONE Stroke Certifications, the most recent being in Phoenix in January 2001.

Through Paint YOUR Wagon, teaching ONE Stroke and demoing for PLAID, Lisa is actively promoting the ONE Stroke method in Arizona and is always looking for more avenues to experience the joy that painting has brought her.
